Position Summary
The IT Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Charleys and Bibibop restaurants by coordinating the setup of POS systems, online ordering, payment processing, and kiosks. This role ensures each technological component is implemented accurately and runs smoothly, providing franchisees with reliable and consistent opening experience. The role requires strong attention to detail and an ability to keep many moving parts aligned to ensure stores open with fully functioning systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage POS purchasing, quoting, ordering, and installation coordination with franchisees, construction teams, and technicians.
- Oversight of POS installations and follow up support.
- Guide franchisees through credit card processing setup including applications, MID tracking, and EMV activation.
- Own online ordering onboarding including third party delivery integrations, testing, scheduling, and documentation.
- Coordinate self service kiosk procurement, configuration, vendor interactions, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Provide ongoing support for POS, online ordering, and payment issues including triage and escalation.
- Maintain accurate real time trackers for multiple stores simultaneously.
- Support technology refresh programs, vendor rollouts, migrations, compliance updates, and other initiatives.
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience supporting restaurant technology systems including POS, online ordering, and payments.
- Strong organization and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Clear communication skills when working with franchisees, vendors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency with Smartsheet, Excel, or similar tracking tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
- Process oriented with strong attention to detail.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role may require occasional visits to restaurant or office locations, which may involve prolonged standing, exposure to kitchen environments, and light lifting. Reasonable accommodations will be made as needed.
