Position Summary

The Azure Cloud and Modern Workplace Architect serves as the strategic lead for the Microsoft cloud environment at Gosh Enterprises. The role is responsible for designing and governing Azure, Power Platform, enterprise data, analytics, and AI solutions, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and effectively support all GOSH brands.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall architecture and roadmap for the Azure cloud environment, including infrastructure, networking, identity, and governance.
  • Oversee Azure security design and standards such as Entra ID, conditional access, Zero Trust, Defender for Cloud, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and resilience strategies for cloud workloads across the organization.
  • Drive cloud cost optimization through FinOps practices, tagging standards, licensing governance, and resource utilization oversight.
  • Design and govern enterprise data and analytics platforms, including the data warehouse, Power BI architecture, and reporting standards.
  • Architect AI and automation solutions using Azure OpenAI Service, Cognitive Services, Copilot, and Machine Learning, integrating these capabilities into business processes.
  • Lead governance, security, and development standards for Power Platform environments including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Provide architectural oversight for Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace technologies such as Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Intune.
  • Create and maintain enterprise documentation including reference architecture, diagrams, standards, and best practice guidelines.
  • Collaborate with engineering, security, data, and business teams to guide solution design and ensure alignment with organizational needs.
  • Evaluate new Microsoft cloud technologies and recommend opportunities for modernization, innovation, and improved operational efficiency.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience in cloud architecture.
  • Five or more years of Azure architecture experience including enterprise scale migrations.
  • Experience with enterprise governance for Power Platform and Power BI.
  • Production experience with Azure AI services including OpenAI, ML, or Cognitive Services.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high ROI cloud and automation solutions.
  • Strategic thinker with proven success driving organization wide adoption.
